Apprenticeship to become a woodworking mechanic in the sawmill!
Because with us you can move BIG things:
- our 24 tonne excavator at our the log yard
- our debarking system for logs with a diameter of 1.20m
- our state-of-the-art log band saw for logs up to 9.00m long
- our 10 tonne forklifts at the sawn timber yard
- our drying system with a loading length of 16.50m
You will spend one-third of your time at school learning theory and two-thirds of your time working in our sawmill to acquire practical skills.

In Germany, after completing the 3-year apprenticeship as a journeyman woodworking mechanic, you can progress to become an industrial master craftsman or wood technician at the university.

Jobs in Germany
In our fully mechanized sawmill, you will work as a team and stack planks, boards and squared timbers into packages using an electric vacuum lifter or the 2t crane.
You will prepare our open-air storage area for air drying the wood stacks.
You will clean and maintain our technical systems and machines.
You will transport wood packages using a 5t or 6t forklift (if you have a forklift license)
If you have not already a working permission in Germany or the EU, under these circumstances you also can work in Germany:
when you are form:
Andorra, Australia, Israel, Japan, Canada, Republic of Korea, Monaco, New Zealand, San Marino, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, USA
or from:
Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia
or if you are from somewere else
as a seasonal employment of 8 months per year
