At our sawmill in Retzbach, we produce oak sawn timber and boules—in thicknesses ranging from 27 mm to 120 mm—for the manufacture of high-quality furniture.

We maintain a large stock of air-dried and seasoned oak square timber and beams.
Available in dimensions ranging from 100 x 100 mm to 500 x 500 mm.
They are used for durable outdoor structures, hydraulic engineering projects, and restoration work, as well as for high-end interior fit-outs.

Sawn veneer
Oak sawn veneers are particularly suitable for applications requiring exceptionally wide or long elements.
Using our band saw, we can produce sawn veneer in lengths of up to 9 meters.

For 75 years, our company has stood for outstanding quality and a wide-ranging selection of sawn timber. All our roundwood comes from sustainably managed local forests and is transported directly to our production facilities via short supply routes. Our product range includes all common hardwood and softwood species, with a primary focus on oak sawn timber and oak squared timber. Bandsaw
The precise cuts made by our computer-controlled vertical band saw ensure optimal raw material utilization, exact cutting accuracy, and an exceptionally smooth surface finish.
Our sawn veneers are proof of this.
Secondary cutting is performed using our circular edger.
Thanks to state-of-the-art processing technology, every log is utilized 100%—from the bark and sawn timber to the wood chips and sawdust.
Wood drying
Our gentle pre-drying process in an open-air storage area is particularly eco-friendly, as it requires neither fuel nor electricity. It removes the majority of the wood's moisture content.
We can dry sawn timber and sawn veneer in our modern drying kilns, either to order or for stock. Thanks to our energy-efficient vacuum dryers featuring heat pump technology, we are also able to respond quickly to requests. A gentle drying process combined with extensive experience ensures consistent results.

Building on centuries of tradition in sustainable forest management, we carry this concept into the future with our PEFC certification.

In the event of snow or icy conditions, our sawmill may close at short notice without prior warning for safety reasons. Different opening hours apply on public holidays and "bridge days" (days between a public holiday and the weekend). Please check our opening hours for these occasions before visiting.
