At our sawmill in Retzbach, Germany, we produce high-quality oak timber and oak boules for premium furniture manufacturing, available in thicknesses from 27 mm to 120 mm.
Oak from the famous Spessart region brings a natural aesthetic to any interior. Its timeless beauty and elegance make it the preferred choice for exclusive interior design.

We maintain a large stock of air-dried and seasoned oak squared timber and oak beams.
Available in dimensions ranging from 100 x 100 mm to 500 x 500 mm.
These are primarily utilized for heavy-duty outdoor constructions, hydraulic engineering, historical restoration, as well as exclusive interior joinery.

Sawn veneer
Oak sawn veneers, as well as sawn veneers made from our domestic high-grade hardwoods and softwoods, are highly suitable for applications requiring exceptionally wide or long elements.
Using our modern log bandsaw technology, we produce precise sawn veneers in lengths of up to 9 metres.

Hardwood
Our timber range includes the following fine hardwoods:
sycamore|maple, birch, beech, oak, wild service tree, ash, alder, hornbeam, cherry, sweet chestnut, lime, walnut, elm, and black locust.
As well as rare varieties, specialty cuts, and unique European timbers such as:
figured sycamore, burl elm, crotch oak, or knotty & pippy oak.

Planed Timber
Our range of planed timber products includes smooth-edged boards, decking boards, wide-plank flooring, cladding boards, tongue-and-groove boards, as well as fence pales and fence posts, predominantly manufactured from oak.
PEFC
Timber from sustainable sources – a regional approach: More than 98% of the roundwood processed at our sawmill is PEFC-certified. We support local forestry by sourcing our timber from regional state, municipal, and private forests.

Quality
Because quality is no coincidence...
For 75 years, our company has been synonymous with exceptional quality and a highly diverse range of timber. The roundwood we process is sourced exclusively from domestic forests and is delivered directly to our production facilities via short transport routes. Our sourcing radius is strictly limited to a maximum of 250 km.
Our product range includes all common hardwoods and softwoods, with our core focus being oak timber and oak squared timber. We would be pleased to provide you with a detailed quotation tailored to your specific requirements.
Bandsaw
The precise cut delivered by our computer-controlled vertical log bandsaw, which achieves a capacity of up to 10 m³/h, maximises raw material yield while ensuring strict cutting accuracy and an exceptionally smooth surface finish.
Our sawn veneers are proof of this high standard.
Secondary cutting is performed by our edger circular saw.
Thanks to advanced machinery and processing, every log is fully utilised—from the bark and timber down to the wood chips and sawdust.
Wood drying
Natural air-drying on the timber yards of our 3-hectare company site is highly resource-efficient, as the initial moisture is removed purely by wind and sun. Through this traditional method, we bring the timber from fresh-cut to air-dried, removing the majority of its moisture contents naturally.
In our modern drying kilns, we can dry timber and sawn veneers either to customer specifications or for stock. Thanks to our energy-efficient vacuum dryers equipped with advanced heat pump technology, we can react flexibly and at short notice. A gentle drying process combined with extensive technical experience ensures a consistent and uniform result.
Warehouses
Quality deserves protection:
We store our high-quality timber in warehouses with a capacity of over 12,000 cubic metres (m³). Kept completely dry, it is ready for immediate dispatch to fulfil your short-notice orders.

In the event of snow or icy conditions, our sawmill may close at short notice without prior warning for safety reasons. Different opening hours apply on public holidays and "bridge days" (days between a public holiday and the weekend). Please check our opening hours for these occasions before visiting.
